Hair Removal at Our Tulsa Spas: Waxing and Sugaring

Do you want to have baby-smooth skin? We offer two excellent and highly effective methods of hair removal at our Tulsa spas: waxing and sugaring. Both methods work in the same way. The warm wax or warm sugar is applied to the skin with a spatula, a thin strip of cloth is pressed into the wax or sugar, and then the strip is pulled off, taking the hair along with it.

Both of these hair removal methods have been used for hundreds of years. Sugaring is an ancient technique, but it's making a comeback because the sugar does not need to be heated as much as wax does, and there's less chance of skin irritation. The effects of both methods last approximately two to four weeks. Sure, waxing and sugaring are pre-electrolysis, pre-laser technology — but they work. For the best results, you'll need to let the hair you want removed grow to at least one-quarter inch, so that the wax or sugar has enough to cling to.
